Oh hey end of the semester.. I see you. and you look fine!!! haha But for real. I am so excited. Although I will be taking summer school..its SUMMER!! I've been waiting for this moment since January! Whew. Only one HUGE in class assignment, one paper, and 3 tests until summer!!!

Its so crazy because I am also getting all of these graduation announcements in the mail! I just got my best friend Ashley's announcement today and nearly cried. Instead I put it on my bulletin board. And I just put Chelsey's (another one of my very best friends) announcement on the fridge like a proud momma! I am just so excited for them!

Since school is coming to a close, so is my lease! All of us (my roommates) have decided to go our serparate ways and live alone. I am nervous. I don't really like being alone all that much. But we will see. My mom and Chelsey's mom are coming into town tomorrow for her bridal shower (from our sorority) so I'll make my mom look at places with me! Also, my current landlady offered to show me some of her other properties.

Formal was last weekend! It was a ton of fun! They gave out awards and I won "Most Likely to be a Real Housewife". My dreams came true! I got a cute apron. Adorb. I died haha.

I haven't slept in my bed in 4 days. Hahaha. Okay that sounds wrong. I have been sleeping on our couch bed! Or maybe its been 5 days. Okay well our tv stopped working, which means our DVR isn't connected to anything and we haven't been able to watch our showss ya'llll. So, we took my 13' Hello Kitty tv and put that in the living room and pulled out the couch bed and made it into like another bedroom. Hahah! Our house is a wreck (which isn't funny anymore..its actually SICK..)! But that couch bed is one comfy biotch. Totally. You can kind of see the layout we've got set up in my pic. Oh yes and Rose is where our nice flat screen used to sit. Pshh who needs a nice tv when you can sit up there?! Hi, its wayy cooler!


I am so proud of myself that I got my paper written before the sun went down today! Ohh heyyyy paper--you're already done. No big deal or anything. Okay, yeah its a HUGE deal.

Well, I'm excited its almost SUMMER!!!!!!!!! Okay I am going to freshen up on my writing assignment for class tom! or keep listening to Justice? Idk I haven't decided yet!

April Showers

WHOA. RAIN. Whats happenin? Campus is like crasseeeyyy flooded. Today I was walking to my 9:30 and didn't have an umbrella (well, apparently I do have one.. I just wasn't aware until waaaaay after class). I wore my North face, a hat and tennis shoes. They were all totally drenched! Oh, and then I got splashed my a car. No big deal. It was inevitable.

But despite my rain disaster,I have been in an awesome mood today! Idk why but i loooove the rainy weather! Not so much walking in it.. but its perf for naps and movies.. all the fun stuff! So, currently I have stuffed my shoes with yellow book pages.. because we don't have newspaper and went to a meeting. I need to do a little paperwork but for the most part I've got a pretty easy night! Next week will be absolutely INSANE with all the stuff I have due! So I'm going to cherish these next few days!


Oh and more exciting news is that there are only like 3 weeks of school left!!!!! Yay! Summer is just around the corner and I am so excited!! :) I just saw an awesome Bud Light commercial. Okay that wasn't appropriate.. But I totes laugh out loud! Okay, back to work! I have got to figure out how to turn in this paperwork!

I'M SO EXCITED!

I'M BETTER!!!!!!!! I guess it was just a 24 hour bug (that really sucked by the way)! Last night I took a sleeping aid to help me get through the night--my whole body just ached! Anyways, so I take that and watch a few more movies and eventually fall asleep. Well I must've slept like a baby because I woke up at 1 in the afternoon!! Who does that?! Whatever, I feel so much better today! I also liked having my friends come in at around 2 and eat their b-fast burritos in my bed and tell me about their night! Haha they were SO funny!

Okay tonight I have my Relay for Life shift from 3am to 6am....WHOA! I'm not sure how my body will handle that, but we'll see. Like, do I make coffee and bring it with me? Do I take a nap before? Or just see what happens?.. I've got a while to figure all that out.

I'm off to figure out my night and eat dinner!

Ina Garten.. I so wish I could be her. Her show on food network makes me happy watching it! Either Ina, or Martha Stewart--my other role model. They are both perfectly classy and all together awesome.




So, last night I went to Chilis with a few friends..Not my fav, but whatev I had a giftcard.. Anyways..around 1:30ish last night..or early this morning whichever makes you feel more comfortable, I was sitting in bed thinking.."Oh wow I maybe could vom.." and then it was "Oh shit I need to throw up!" What a night... I went through that routine from 1:30 last night til about 9 am this morning.. My whole body aches..I am absolutely miserable!! I guess I have the flu or a stomach bug. Whatever it is it SUCKS. This is not my weekend. I am supposed to be at home hanging out with family--they are ALL there together celebrating my stepbrothers engagement. All except me. I have previous obligations here :( I am totally bummin'. I did manage to hit up the Wal-Mart and grab a 7-UP and the new Cosmo. And hopefully not to jinx myself I am feeling a teeny bit better. Still total crap--but better. Oh, I wish I could go out tonight..Hopefully tomorrow tho!

Okay I am going to lay down again.. and maybe get another 7-up

NOTHIN BUT A G THANG...

WHAT AM I DOING?!?! haha No, but seriously. I have an exam tom at 9:30. No big deal or anything. Well, actually its a huge f'in deal. BUT, I'd rather blog.. Instead of read a milli pages about stuff. I am a great student. Haha!

I am drinking coffee. I've decided since I'll be up til you know 3ish might as well enjoy it as best I can. So, I've got my coffee, the book I'm supposed to be reading, and my Hello Kitty blanket. Oh yes and my laptop--who by the way is a TROOPER! Way to go COMPAQ for making one hell of a sturdy comp. Apparently I go stupid when I move. Walking, for instance, can be hazardous to all objects around me. CAUTION: HOMEGIRL NEEDS A HELMET!!! KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE! I should keep that sign on my back. Hahah ohh yeah. Like, campus gets me every day! I will be just walking to class with everyone I don't know around me and then trip. And when youre alone you can't turn to the person next to you and be like "haha I just tripped..so what we were talking about" and laugh about it.. You are forced to laugh-it-off and Be Cool about it. Whatever. I do laugh when it happens.. but sometimes I'm like, "Really?! Everyday?" haha I once had a girl say to me.. "Are you okay?!?" I wanted to be like, "No bitch, actually I am mortified, even more so now that you pointed it out!!" hahaha Okay, it really doesn't bother me that much!

Now on to a really interesting story about my clumsiness. I was out with friends at a bar a few streets from my casa... Luckily, we only live a few streeets from the bar and get to walk! Works out great!...Usually. So, I had a philanthropy event the next morning (HAHA) and I decided to leave at a decent hour of around 12:30ish. Not wasted at all mind you. Only a few drinks! So, I am walking across the road--to get to the other side...(lol) and when I get to the middle of the street I bust ass!! Like fall down. Not just trip..I fell. So my shoe pops off and I am in the middle of the road trying to gather my shit back up and whatnot.. Hoping only a few people saw me. I collect myself and slowly make it to the other side. I have just reached the sidewalk when an SUV is rolling by. Suddenly, all of the windows roll down and the car slows waaaayyy down. Everyone in the car (they were all boys..) yells and points at me. Kind of like, AHHHHHHHHHH HAAHAHAHAHA! Cooolest moment EVER. I have only one choice to curtsy and wave. Hey, you gotta keep it classy. Oh yes, then I took off my shoes and bolted home. :)

Okay, I know its wrong to covet but..I am. and I do. I have wanted these forever!!

Ugh, I know they are so cute. And also like $400.

Have you ever had one of those days where you are just like...UGH. Gah, that sounds totally pathetic, but it is how I felt today.

Easter weekend was MUCH needed! I spent quality time with my chickens--who are doing fabulous--spent time with the family, and got to see my best friends..including one who I hadn't seen in so long! So all in all it was perfect! OH and I finally watched Shutter Island. haha It was good--a little long and drawn out, but still good.

So, I wish Organization was my middle name. Or like Alexa Likes-To-Get-Things-DONE Locke. That would be cool. But, that is not the case. My middle name should really be.. Procrastinator. Or like.. well you know.. something along those lines. Forgetful would be cool too. (Well so would Sasha Fierce, but lets face it I'll prob change my name to that anyways...) Haha!

I'm off to reading (maybe) and being interesting (most definitely)! Where is summer?!???

OMG.. I have to mention that I dropped my computer 2 times today!! Clumsy would also be a good alternate for names. Whatev. Okay seriously, I am going to finish this episode of Frazier--why? idk I don't even like this show--and then read til I can't anymore! A lot to get done tomorrow too!!
