Its not easy being GREEN
True dat, Kermit, true dat.
So, a few weeks ago marked my one year anniversary of the worst St. Patty's Day ever. The night I was vomited on! Oh man! We've come a long way. So, this year good 'ol St. Patty's Day fell on my Spring Break as it usually does. And I decided, "I'm going to Austin to see my good ladyfriend Jenny!"
Jenn met me at my house on Thursday afternoon and we drove down--I followed her in my car. We get to her super cute apartment and got ready to go have a few drinks at a restaurant/bar right by her place! We put on our best "green garb" and went in to a place called... Lil Woodrows! real talk.
Anyways, we are sitting there just having shared a margarita pizza and a few drinks, when I notice these 2 guys sitting behind us. One of them smiles at me and seems interested? Whatever. Jenn and I order another round (it was neeeded believe me) and we are laughing and catching up eect. ect. Then I see the guy who I had just made flirty gestures with standing next to me. Flattered, I look at him expecting him to have some great "HEY" or honestly even Helloooo probs wouldve worked! HAH. But no, not for me. This guy, I'll call him Awkward Alan, stands there WITHOUT looking at me directly and says in the lowest voice I have ever heard-close to a whisper but way creepier-- anyways he says "Can I buy you a drink?" Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I say yes thinking maybe he is just nervous and not totally weird. WRONG ALEXA. So wrong. Jenn and I invite Alan and his friend Touchy Feel-y Tom to sit with us. Alan's next question to me is "Do you like Vegasss Bombs?...." Again, I could barely hear him, so I was like "YA, totally! Haha What are you drinking tonight?!" Keep in mind he still hasn't looked at me. Now, I am fully regretting my decision to accept a drink for Awkward Alan. Jenn is now forced to sit next to Touchy Feel-y Tom, who has decided to put his hand on her knee and rub her leg and basically make her super uncomfortable. Tom, Jenn and I are having a conversation about who knows what and Alan is still sitting there. Now with his head in his hands. Then on the table. I love winners. Alan then says to the table, "Looks like I'm not in this party!" gets up and stumbles to the bar. Tom explains to us how his friend is just weird like that, but leaving the explanation for himself out. Jenn is kicking me under the table. Girl code for LETS GET THE EFF OUT OF HERE! So finalllyyy we are able to get Tom and Juan (another winner who came up and sat way to close to me) away from us. And we leave!
We laugh all the way to the car about how creepy they were and the girls next to us who literally LOVED every song that came on. When we are driving home Jenn lets me know that not only was Awkward Alan awkward, quiet, and overall strange but turns out that when he was putting his face in his hands and on the table he was VOMMING ON HIMSELF!!!!! I know! I laugh thinking about it now. But what is it with me and people who throw up in public?
Maybe Lil' Woodrows wasn't the best choice of the night or maybe my St.Patty's Days are cursed BUT all I know is I'll always have a good story to tell...
OH YEAH! I also went to the Parade in downtown Dallas for the first time ever! It was a blast!! I can't figure out how to load my pics but I promise they will be put up soon!!

Okay time for some major updates!
1) Its Spring Semester. and currently I am on Spring break now! Chika Chika Yeah!
2) I made a 97 on one of my midterms today. So what if there was a 24 point curve.. An "A" is and "A" right?!
3) I am doing required volunteering for my major at the Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms in the 2 hospitals here. I am loving it so far.
4) I am now a celebrity. I was featured on Fox 34 Lubbock news. I look like a complete idiot and didn't even say a word. I also sent the link to everyone I knew to go look at how awesome their friend is.. but I guess "ain't nothing but a G thang".. because hello I am famous now!
5) Also, I have been blogging for over a year now! CRA-SEE! I am also thinking about making it more public sense no one reads it except for when I make my friends. And then I end up reading it out loud. And well, thats no fun. (but okay, it kind of is because I think they like the way I read it)
6) My love for redheads has grown even stronger. I realized last night suddenly how much of a STONE COLD FOX Conan is. Whew!
7) Also, just because I am THAT GIRL, today when I got home from being at school all day I realized I had been walking around with the giant, white, nastyyy looking stain on the back of my jeans. I have absolutely no idea where that came from?! I also wore the same pair of pants yesterday so its like double whammy. But, it came right off with a wet towel. Did I mention I have to do my laundry soon?!
